UNP MP Mangala Samaraweera appeared to be evading the public, after his sexual predilections were revealed before Court.
He did not face the people and the media, but attended a meeting of the Leadership Council held in Sirikotha on Thursday.
Everybody was careful not to mention anything about the issue to Mangala.
He also kept mum mostly.
The Leadership Council did not meet for a long time and the meeting wound up without taking major decisions.
Chairman of the Leadership Council, Karu Jayasuriya, also left the meeting saying he had urgent work to attend to.
Some say Karu was ashamed to sit with Mangala.
